Simethicone is the active principle in this medicine and it works by destroying gas bubbles, facilitating their elimination and relieving the discomfort it causes.

It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of gases in adults

You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 10 days.

Do not take AERO-RED FORTE 240 mg

- If you are allergic to simethicone or any of the other ingredients of this

medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and cautions

If symptoms worsen, or if they persist after 10 days of treatment, or if you have constipation that does not improve, you should see your doctor.

Taking AERO-RED FORTE 240 mg with other medicines

Taking this medicine does not affect the effectiveness of other medicines.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.

Taking AERO-RED FORTE 240 mg with food, drink and alcohol

Taking this medicine with food and drink does not affect its effectiveness.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant. consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Although the active substance in this medicine is not absorbed, pregnant or lactating women should not take this medicine without consulting their doctor.

Driving and using machines

AERO-RED FORTE 240 has no known effects on the ability to drive or use machines.

Follow exactly the instructions of administration of this medicine indicated by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist again.

The recommended dose is 1 capsule after each main meal (lunch and dinner)

This medicine is taken by mouth.

Swallow the capsule with a large glass of water.

Do not take the medicine for more than 10 days in a row.

If symptoms worsen or do not improve within 10 days of treatment, you should stop and consult your doctor.

If you take more AERO-RED FORTE 240 mg than you should

There are no known cases of overdose.

Even if a much higher amount is ingested than indicated, it is very unlikely that adverse effects will occur, due to the lack of digestive absorption of the drug.

If you forget to take AERO-RED FORTE 240 mg

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

If necessary take 1 capsule after the next main meal.

Like all medicines, AERO-RED FORTE 240 mg can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

During the period of use of simethicone, the following adverse effects have been observed, the frequency of which has not been established:

- moderate transient constipation and nausea

- belching may occur which is the normal mechanism of elimination of

gases with this treatment

- allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions such as rash and itchy skin,

edema of the face or tongue or difficulty breathing.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after EXP. The expiry date is the last day of the month indicated.

Do not store above 30 ° C.

Medicines must not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Deposit the containers and medicines that you do not need at the SIGRE Point of the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. This way you will help to protect the environment.

Composition of AERO-RED FORTE 240 mg

The active substance is simethicone. Each capsule contains 240 mg of simethicone.

The other ingredients (excipients) are gelatin and glycerol (E-422)
