Composition:

Sodium hypochlorite, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, sodium tetraborate decahydrate and purified water.

Why is it important to disinfect fruits and vegetables?

The Spanish Food Safety and Nutrition Agency (AESAN) is the body responsible for ensuring food health. The institution is careful, through the issuance of regulations and the carrying out of exhaustive checks, that food arrives in perfect condition to the final consumer.

However, sometimes there are accidental circumstances in which food can become contaminated, such as:

Accidental contamination of irrigation water due to drought or possible filtration of water from septic wells or faecal water.

Any use of untreated organic fertilizer can contaminate irrigation water.

The possibility of contact of fruits and vegetables with soil, insects or other animals.

The transfer of products from cold storage chambers to the point of sale. Storage in cold rooms at 4o-6o Celsius prevents vegetables from deteriorating for a certain period of time, but does not prevent the presence of bacteria. By the time fruits and vegetables leave the cold chain and undergo room temperature, bacteria regain their growth capacity.

Although gloves are recommended when handling fruits and vegetables, they are often groped in search of the "best" piece.

How to use:

Add one dosing cap per 25 liters of water. Put the fruits and vegetables in the water. From the first minute it has an antibacterial action on the most common germs (Enterobacteria, Escherichia coli and also Salmonella). For thorough disinfection leave the fruits and vegetables in the water for 15 min. Rinse them and they will be ready to serve while maintaining their natural taste and smell.

Precautions and Warnings:

Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest.
