1. What is Lemon ENO Fruit Salt and what it is used for

ENO Lemon fruit salt is a medicine with antacid action and is indicated in relief and treatment

heartburn and heartburn in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

You should see a doctor if it gets worse or if it does not improve after 7 days.

2. What you need to know before you start drinking EnO Lemon Fruit Salt

Do not take ENO Lemon Fruit Salt

If you are allergic to sodium hydrogencarbonate, anhydrous citric acid, anhydrous sodium carbonate or

any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

• In case of heart, liver or kidney disease.

• In case of high voltage.

If you are following a low sodium diet.

Warnings and precautions

The use of high amounts of this medicine or for a long period of time may result in

alkalosis (alteration of acid-base balance) so it should not exceed the recommended dose.

Do not use for more than 7 days in a row. If symptoms persist after this period, stop taking the

doctor, as this may indicate a more serious illness.

If you have appendicitis or your symptoms (nausea, vomiting, cramps, abdominal pain) you should not take this

Medication.

Children

Children under 12 years of age: This medicine is not indicated for use in children under 12 years of age.

Using ENO Lemon Fruit Salt with Other Medicines

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently taken or might take

any other medication.

In general, the intake of any antacid should be separated by a minimum of 1 or 2 hours from the administration of

any other medication.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine if you are taking:

- Tetracyclines, used to treat some infections.

- Amphetamines, used as a nervous system stimulant.

- Quinidine, used to treat heart rhythm problems.

- Lithium carbonate, used to treat some psychiatric problems.

- Iron salts, used to treat iron deficiencies.

- Calcium supplements.

Take ENO Lemon Fruit Salt with Food and Drink

Milk and dairy products should be consumed at times other than taking the medicine.

You should not take this medicine immediately after excess food and drink.

Pregnancy and lactation

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or intend to

becoming pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Driving and using machines

No effects on the ability to drive or use machinery have been observed.

ENO Lemon Fruit Salt Contains Sodium

Patients on sodium-poor diets should be noted that this medicine contains 850 mg (37

sodium per dose of 5 g.

3. How to take EnO Lemon Fruit Salt

Adults and children over 12 years old: the recommended dose is one envelope or a tablespoon (5 g of powder)

dissolved in a glass of water when symptoms occur, preferably 1 to 3 hours

after meals.

No more than 2 doses should be taken within 24 hours.

Dissolve the contents of an envelope or tablespoon of effervescent powder in a glass of water. Remove

until the effervescence ceases, obtaining a transparent solution of pale green.

If symptoms do not improve within 7 days you should stop treatment and see your doctor.

Use in children under 12 years of age: This medicine is not indicated for use in children under 12 years of age

If you take more ENO Lemon Fruit Salt than you should

At high doses, there may be an increase in sodium in the blood and metabolic alkalosis, which manifests itself

4. Possible side effects

This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use LEMON ENO fruit salt after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after
