Ingredients

Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.12%

MODE OF USE

Use as a common toothpaste, applying a small amount of gel on a soft brush of rounded filaments. Carefully brush affected areas at least 2 times a day, with vertical movements of the gum to the tooth. It may be applied topically to the affected oral area.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Most toothpastes contain detergents that inactivate chlorhexidine. Do not use during treatment with Perio Aid gel. It is contraindicated in people who have shown hypersensitivity reactions to chlorhexidine. These reactions are extremely rare. In some cases there may be alteration of taste and urente sensation in the tongue, which usually decrease with continued use of the product. After prolonged use and contact with certain beverages and foods such as red wine, coffee, tea and also with tobacco, coloration may occur in the teeth, fillings and tongue. This coloration is not permanent and can be avoided in large part by brushing daily with an abrasive toothpaste or dental prophylaxis may be necessary.
