Management of acute and chronic diarrhoea, both in children and adults.
The properties of Megasmect are: protect the intestinal wall, absorb bacteria, viruses, endo and exotoxins causing diarrhea, regulate intestinal permeability and offer antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity on the intestinal epithelium.
The diosmectita is not absorbed through the intestinal epithelium so it has no systemic effects and has been classified by the FDA as a safe treatment.
Gluten-free, lactose-free. Orange aroma, vanilla aroma.
EMPLOYMENT MODE:
Children: Under 1 year: 1 envelope per day.
Between 1 and 2 years: 1-2 envelopes per day (spread every 12h).
Over 2 years: 2-3 envelopes per day (1 out of every 8 or 12h).
Adults: 1 out of 3 times a day Duration of treatment: 3-5 days depending on evolution.
It can be taken for long periods. The envelopes are diluted in 25-50 ml of water or milk.
They can also be mixed with soups or purees.
