It is a solution for skin spraying.

It is indicated in people over 12 years of age for the local symptomatic relief of muscle and joint pain such as: lumbago, torticollis, small sports injuries and overexertion such as minor sprains, bruises, minor sprains and muscle cramps.

You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 7 days of treatment.

Do not use radio salil spray

- If you are allergic to diethylamine salicylate, menthol, camphor or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

- If you are allergic to salicylates.

- Do not use radio salil spray on children under 12 years of age.

- If you suffer from allergic asthma: in asthmatic patients with any type of allergy that may be increased by the use of an aerosol.

Warnings and cautions

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using radio salil spray.

Do not apply to irritated or damaged skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not eat.

Do not apply to very large areas of the skin and avoid exposure to the sun (even if it is cloudy) or to ultraviolet lamps (UVA) in the treated area after applying the medicine.

Do not apply this medicine with occlusive bandages or apply heat to the area where it is used. If you cover the area where you have used radio salil spray , do it so that the garment that covers the treated area is slightly loose.

Do not exceed the recommended dose of 3-4 applications a day.

If the discomfort persists, does not improve or increases after 7 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor.

Children

Children under 12 years of age cannot use this medicine.

Children are especially sensitive to some components of this medicine. Application on the skin can cause pressure drop, suffocation, bluish discoloration of the skin and seizures.

Using radio salil spray with other medicines

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used or might take any other medicines.

If you are taking warfarin (a medicine used to prevent blood clots), avoid chronic use or high amounts of radium salil spray, as this medicine contains diethylamine salicylate, it could increase the risk of bleeding caused by warfarin.

It is not recommended that you use this medicine simultaneously with others that also contain analgesics for skin use or with medicines that when used on the skin make it red and produce a sensation of heat in the area of application (rubefacient medicines), because adverse effects could be enhanced. of both medications.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you might be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

The use of this medicine is not recommended in pregnant women or those who are breastfeeding their child, unless their doctor prescribes it because they have not found another safer.

Driving and using machines

The use of this medicine does not affect the ability to drive and operate machines.

Follow exactly the instructions for administration of the medicine contained in this leaflet or those indicated by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose is:

1 or 2 pumps, as needed to treat the affected area, up to a maximum of 3-4 times a day if necessary.

This medicine is for cutaneous use only on whole skin. Do not eat.

Apply directly to the area to be treated and without rubbing.

Press the valve, keeping the container upright.

If necessary, wash your hands after application.

Do not apply this medicine with occlusive bandages or apply heat to the area where it is used. If you cover the area where you have used radio salil spray , do it so that the garment that covers the treated area is slightly loose.

When using the medicine, keep away from flame or any other source of heat (see section 5).

If symptoms persist after 7 days of treatment, irritation or worsening occurs, a doctor should be consulted.

Use in children

It is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

If you use more radio salil spray than you should

Skin problems can occur.

In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist or call the Toxicological Information Service, telephone 91 562 04 20, indicating the medicine and the amount used.

Poisoning must be treated by medical personnel, and treatment must be suspended. Do not induce vomiting in case of accidental ingestion .

In the event of accidental ingestion of the medicine, immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist. The following symptoms can occur due to camphor: nausea, vomiting, colic, headache, dizziness, feeling hot, delirium, nervousness, epileptic-type seizures, central nervous system depression, and coma.

Breathing is difficult and the breath has a characteristic odor.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

During the period of use of this medicine, the following adverse effects have occurred, the frequency of which has not been established with accuracy.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorder: This drug has a certain rubefacient action, so that the presence of heat and redness is part of its medicinal activity. However, in some sensitive skin it can cause: irritation, erythema, allergic skin sensitization or allergic skin reactions in the area of application, which resolve when treatment is stopped.

If you experience any kind of side effect, consult your doctor or pharmacist, even if it is about possible side effects that are not listed in this leaflet. You can also communicate them directly through the Spanish Pharmacovigilance System for Medicines for Human Use website: www.notificaram.es .

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the carton after EXP. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated.

Pressurized container: may burst if heated.

Do not pierce or burn, even after use.

Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures higher than 50ºC / 122ºF .

Do not spray on an open flame or other source of ignition.

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and any source of ignition. No Smoking.

Medicines must not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Deposit the containers and medicines that you do not need at the SIGRE Point of the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. This way you will help to protect the environment.

SALIL SPRAY RADIO COMPOSITION

The active principles are: Each ml contains:

• Diethylamine salicylate100 mg
• Menthol25 mg
• Camphor10 mg

The other ingredients (excipients) are: isopropyl myristate and 96% ethanol.
