Solgar Vitamin E 268 mg (400 IU) Soft capsules are available as soft capsules to promote the absorption of this fat-soluble nutrient. This way your body gets the help it needs to protect cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. It also contains natural vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) which in studies has shown 1.3 times more bioavailability than synthetic forms.*
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin found naturally in nuts, nut oils, olive oil, green leafy vegetables and avocados. It is an essential nutrient as it is the main antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress and damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are formed by converting food into energy or when we are exposed to environmental pollution and ultraviolet sunlight. In addition, your body needs vitamin E to strengthen your immune system. A healthy and balanced diet should provide a sufficient amount of vitamin E but unfortunately most people's diet does not reach this level.
