Sterile film that provides a barrier to liquids, bacteria and viruses, including HBV and HIV viruses, preventing external contamination of the site or wounds.
Transparent sterile dressing with non-stick absorbent pad that helps control mild exudate. It is soft on the skin and allows the patient to bathe with it.
Features:
Mixed dressing. It consists of a semipermeable transparent dressing with hypoallergenic adhesive and liquid-impervious material that allows the natural gaseous exchange of the skin; and an absorbent, non-sticky central pad. The absorbent, non-stick contact layer of the pad minimizes pain and alteration of healing tissue at the time of dressing removal. The pad provides excellent absorption compared to standard cotton gauze dressings. Recommended for post-surgical wounds or surfaces with mild exudate, surface burns or abrasions
