UTIPRO PLUS 30 CAPSULES
ACTION AND DESCRIPTION
Sanitary product designed for the control and prevention of urinary tract infections (TU) caused by pathogens such as E. col¡ and other gram bacteria (-) usually involved in urological infections.
The main component of Utipro PLUS, formed by a combination of gelatin and xyloglucane (hemicelulose), acts mechanically in the light of the intestine avoiding the contact of pathogens with the intestinal mucosa. This interaction between the pathogen and the intestinal mucosa is the first step in its proliferation and subsequent access to the urinary tract. Utipro PLUS should be taken from the time of the onset of the first symptoms of urinary tract disorder in order to reduce the proliferation of pathogens that may lead to infection. In case of recurrent infections, in which pathogen proliferation causes repeated urinary tract infections, Utipro PLUS can also be used to prevent new episodes.
Composition
Combination of gelatin and xyloglucane (hemicelulose), propolis, Hibiscus sabdariffa, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, corn starch.
CONSERVATION AND EXPIRATION
Store at a temperature between 5oC and 25oC.
MODE OF USE
It is recommended to take 2 capsules per day orally for 5 days in the presence of the first symptoms of urinary discomfort. For the prevention of recurrent infections, it is recommended to take 1 capsule a day for at least 15 consecutive days per month (if necessary, you can repeat intake cycles).
Swallow the capsules with the help of water.
CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
ITU should be diagnosed by a competent healthcare professional. For this reason, we recommend consulting your doctor in case of diagnosis, severe symptoms such as high fever, patients under the age of 14, or patients with other diseases or risk factors.
An acute ITU may require drug treatment with antibiotics. Utipro PLUS is not an antibiotic, as it has neither bactericidal nor bacteriostatic activity against pathogens; therefore, you cannot replace antibiotic treatment if it is recommended by your doctor. In the event that pharmacological treatment is necessary, Utipro PLUS may be administered concomitantly with it.
Although no adverse reactions have been reported, this product should not be used during pregnancy or during the first months of lactation. In any of the above cases, talk to your doctor.
Do not use this product after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
Do not turn the capsules if the blister is open or damaged.
Keep the product at room temperature and in a place away from heat sources,
Do not freeze the product.
Keep the product out of the reach of children.
Utipro PLUS should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to gelatin or any of the ingredients in the product.
